HISTORY
Arriba Suites' history dates back to the 1950's ! Back then the neighbourhood was not what you see today. In fact, the neighbourhood served as living space for locals and wasn't called " Arriba Suites" until 2016. We decided to name it "Arriba Suites" because the street the neighbourhood is on was originally named "ARRIBA". The neighbourhood housed many locals throughout the years and eventually was abandoned until 2014. The Institute of Anthropology and History decided to protect it due to is cultural and historical value.

In 2014 the neighbourhood was rescued, restored, and remodelled. In doing, so the entire main floor's layout was preserved. Many of the floors, walls, gates and frames are actually original! A second floor was added to bring value to the experience. The second floor contributes to creating a bigger community as well as a common space to encourage rest and comfort in everyday living. Additionally every detail, decoration, amenity added was carefully thought to promote rest. In essence, Arriba Suites was created to offer an authentic local and comforting lifestyle.
